Mary Jane White
Mary Jane White, 93, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at NHC Healthcare, Glasgow, following a long illness.
A native of Glasgow, Mrs. White was the daughter of the late Creed and Emma Jones Maxey. She was married to Emery H. White, Sr. for 57 years until his death in 1993.
She had been an active life-long member of Glasgow Baptist Church and was a member of the Edmund Rogers chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include her two sons, Emery H. White, Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Louisville, Kentucky; John J. White and his wife Jean Dickinson White, of Atlanta, Georgia; and her daughter, Suzanne White Davis, and her husband Charles Davis, of Los Alamos, New Mexico.
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
