Mary Jane Goodman

Mary Jane Goodman, 81, died Thursday, March 26, 2009, at the Hart County Health Care Center.
She was born on July 7, 1927, in Dry Fork, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Riley W. Goodman and Eva Lewis Goodman. She was an accountant for Cargill, Inc. in Louisville and Chattanooga, a member of New Cut Baptist Church in Louisville, and a graduate of Temple Hill High School.
Survivors include one sister, Frances Duff of Horse Cave, one brother, Jacob D. (Colleen) Goodman of Boynton Beach, Florida, and a sister-in-law, Ruth Goodman of Bowling Green, and her niece and guardian, Martha Rose (Jerry) Polson as well as several other nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe Lewis Goodman, Bryan Goodman, Jimmie Goodman, Paul Goodman, Sewell Goodman and sisters, Elizabeth G. Taylor, Maggie Morrison and Kathleen Thomerson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
