Mary Frances Peden, 90, Cave City, near Goodnight, died Sunday, January 23, 2022 at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Barney and Betty Moore Keithley. She was a homemaker who also farmed alongside her husband and was a member of the South Green Street Church of Christ for more than 50 years.
Survivors include her husband of 72 years Allen Peden; three children: Pat McCandless (Ronnie), Michael Peden (Janice), and Steve Peden (Christy); six grandchildren: Melanie Orrand, Jeremy Peden, Micah Peden, Donna Taylor, Whitney Isenberg, and Alesa Tyree; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter Lacey McCandless; one step-grandson Chris Clark; one brother King Keithley; and three sisters: Christine Herron, Ada Abrams, and Margaret Keithley.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 10 am Wednesday at the funeral home.
