Mary Elizabeth Norris
June 24, 1920 ~ October 6, 2001
Mary Elizabeth Elmore Norris, 81, Scottsville Road, Glasgow, died Saturday at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A daughter of the late Jeff and Lottie Woodcock Elmore, she was a retired housekeeper at Barren River State Park with 20 years service and a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Annette Cook and Lauraetta Norris of Lucas; two sons, Charles Norris and Terry Len Norris of Lucas; one granddaughter, Melissa Annette Roach of Richmond, KY.; one sister, Ann Elmore of Louisville; one niece, Laura Nunn and one nephew, William Chandler both of Louisville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Norris; one brother, Hulan Elmore; one sister, Euna Chandler; and one nephew, James Allen Elmore.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Tracy Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
