Mary Dell Simmons Conrad
Mary Dell Simmons Conrad, 99, died Tuesday, December 26, 2006, at the Glenview Health Care Center. She was born in the Temple Hill Community, the daughter of the late Wiley and Maud Norvell Simmons and the wife of the late Benjamin Conrad. The Conrads made their home in Borden, IN until his death.
Mrs. Conrad was a former employee of Selman’s Department Store in Louisville and a member of the Temple Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers, Ray Simmons, Harry Simmons, Willie Simmons, James Simmons, Frank Simmons, Stanley Simmons and Ellis Simmons; and three sisters, Velma Peden, Mabel Matthews and Sarah Nelson.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2006, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Highland Memory Garden in Mt. Washington, KY. Visitation at the funeral home will be after 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time for services.
