Mary Christine Paul Young, 74, Glasgow, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Signature Health Care Center. A daughter of the late Elbert and Eulas Mae Haskins Paul, she was a retired employee of the Housekeeping Department at T. J. Samson Hospital and was a Jehovah’s Witness. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Lewis Young.
Survivors include eight children: Katheryn Ann Young and Margaret Ann Young of Georgia, Elvis Lewis Young (Jacqueline) and Ricky Wayne Young of Texas, Charles L. Young Jr. (Deborah), Paul Lewis Young, Jr., Jonathan Matthew Young, and Christopher Lamont Young, all of Kentucky; two sisters: Bertha Alexander and Lois Rice; four brothers: Roger Paul, Arlene Paul, Clarence Paul, and James Paul; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
