Marie Guthrie, 79, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the NHC Nursing Facility. She was a daughter of the late Wilbur C. Basham and Clarice M. Dallas Basham. She was a retired bus driver from Barren County School System and also did dog grooming and a farmer.
She is survived by, three adopted children: two sisters: Betty Cook of Florida and Darlene Frey of Louisville; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Earl Loyd Guthrie; one brother: James Basham; one sister: Christine Sanders.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Cumberland County. Visitation will be after 9:00 am Saturday until time for services at the funeral home.
