Mable Irene Cash, 94, Summer Shade, died Friday, December 24, 2021 at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late John William Fields and Eula Jane Fields. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hillside Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two children: Becky Lawson and husband Mike, David Cash and wife Carla; a daughter-in-law, Lucy Cash; a son-in-law, Veachel Compton; two sisters: Nettie Jessie and Ruby Starr; her friend and care giver, Sandra Parrish; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Miller Cash; two sons, William Cash and Donnie Ray Cash; and one daughter, Barbara Compton.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Big Meadow Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
