Lula Garrett Jensen

Lula Garrett Jensen, 85, of Glasgow, died Saturday, September 13, 2008 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Henry Clay Garrett and Kate Stout Garrett. She was a seamstress and a member of the Grider Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son: Gary Jensen and his wife Gayla of Owensboro; three grandchildren: Mandy Evans and her husband Zach, Spencer Jensen and his wife Katie and Craig Jensen; three great grandchildren: Carter Evans, Seth Evans and Ella Ann Jensen; one brother: James Garrett and his wife Opal of Glasgow; one sister: Emogene Grizzle and her husband Kenneth of Glasgow.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers: Elvin Garrett, Wilmer Garrett, Ben Garrett and Samuel Garrett; two sisters: Minnie Garrett and Linnie Bruton.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral with Bro. Kenneth Grizzle officiating. Burial will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:30 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. . Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to T. J. Samson Hospice.
