Luke Edward Taylor, 72, Glasgow, passed away March 8, 2026 suddenly at TJ Samson Hospital. He was the son of the late William Edward Taylor and Delicie Colbert Taylor. He was a bus (67) driver for Barren County School System for many years. He enjoyed front porch sitting and waving at whom ever would wave back. He had a knack for making people laugh and tinkering in his garage.
He is survived by three children: Delicie “Dee” Wheat (David), Rickey Taylor (Amanda), Jessica Portman (Billy), and Michael Portman (Anna); six grandchildren: Brandon, Seth, Gavin, Jolynn, Leland and Morgan.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife Janet Armes Taylor. And son Chad Alan Taylor.
Memorial service will be held 4:00pm Thursday March 12, 2026, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Visitation will began after 1:30 pm on Thursday.
