Lorene Jaggers Coffey, 85, of Cave City, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026 at Green River Trails in Greensburg, Kentucky. She was a daughter of the late Clint and Myrtle Vincent Jaggers.

She is survived by three children: Linda Gibson (Tim), Darrell Coffey (Lura) and Carl Coffey (Loretta); nine grandchildren: Kyle Coffey (Jessica), Carla McClister, Ashley Treat (Darrin), Natalia Coffey, Lillie Coffey, Annie Coffey, Scott Gibson (Kim Wyatt), Ryan Gibson (Amy) and Kellie Gibson; one brother: Ron Jaggers (Ann); one sister: Sylvia Whitlow; twenty great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Carlos J. Coffey; five brothers: Thomas Jaggers, Edward Jaggers, Larry Jaggers, Raymond Jaggers and Eugene Jaggers; four sisters: Corine Young, Susie Bennett, Imogene Davis and Betsy Jaggers.

Funeral will be 2:00 pm Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Hatcher Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday and after 9:00 am Sunday until time for services.
