Loren David Staples

Loren David Staples, 64, Louisville , died Wednesday, June 9, 2004 , at his residence. A native of Glasgow , he was a son of the late Henry and Minnie Huff Staples. He was a former route man for Brown’s Ice Cream in Bowling Green and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include three sons, Scotty Staples, Shannon Staples and Brian Staples, all of Tompkinsville; four sisters, Mary Perkins, Bess Riddle and Madell Bagby all of Glasgow, and Peggy Polson of Scottsville; four brothers, Henry Staples, Milburn Staples and Follis Staples all of Glasgow, Leroy Staples of Leitchfield; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 12 noon Friday at the funeral home.
