Loman Watkins, 90, Glasgow, died Friday, March 28, 2008, at the Barren County Health Care Center.  A native of Stewart Co., TN, he was a son of the late Ida Jane Wyatt and Charles Benjamin Watkins.  He was the owner and operator of Watkins & Sons Logging in Glasgow and a member of the Coral Hill Church of Christ.  He was a veteran of WWII, having served with Company B, 785 Military Police Battalion.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Runyon Watkins.

Survivors include four children, Charles (Judy) Watkins, Wayne (Theda) Watkins, Carolyn (John) Clark and Peggy (Steve) Hannah; one sister, Odessa Earheart; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2008, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.  Burial with military honors provided by Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV will be in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
