Lester Leroy Bickel
September 25, 1912 ~ June 24, 2002
Lester Leroy Bickel, 89, Scottie Drive, Glasgow, died Monday at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a retired mechanical engineer at Tyson Bearing in Glasgow, a United States Navy veteran of WW II and a member of the Faith United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian; one son, Jim Bickel and his wife, Suki, of Winston-Salem, NC; one sister, Ida Mae Doolittle of Colorado Springs. He was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Bickel.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
