Lenora "Tody" Steenbergen

Lenora (Tody) Steenbergen, 94, left this earth on November 11, 2025. Tody was born in Hartsville, Tennessee on May 21, 1931 to Leslie C. Brockett and Mary Elizabeth Brockett (both deceased). She is a graduate of Trousdale County High School. After graduation and a short courtship, Tody married Jewett Ralph Steenbergen in September of 1952. They lived in Wedgewood in Glasgow until Jewett’s passing in January of 2014. She and Jewett were members of the South Green Street Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Leslie Brockett Jr, and one sister, Edna Lanwood (Lannie) Brockett Price (Ralph). She was also preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Dewey Steenbergen Jr., (Virginia) and three sisters-in-laws, Mildred Niemeier (Denver), Frances Holmes (Carroll) and Wanda Self Curd.

Tody is survived by one nephew, Ferrell Price (Elaine) of Bowling Green and was proceeded in death by her nephews Phillip Price and Sonny Brockett and one niece, Patty Cymbala. She is also survived by her caregivers, Jewett’s nephew Bobby Steenbergen (Gayle) and her nieces Carole Dawn Holmes Durham (Terry) and Lisa Holmes Edmunds (Sammy) of Glasgow. Many other nieces and nephews survive.

Visitation for Tody Steenbergen will be held Friday, November 14th, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
