Lena Mae Jewell
March 11, 1922 ~ April 11, 2005
Lena Mae Jewell, 83, Glasgow, died Monday, April 11, 2005, at NHC. A daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Fisher Harrison, she was a native of Barren County, a homemaker and member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Rondall Jewell of Glasgow; one daughter, Carolyn Britt and husband Danny G. of Richmond, KY; two grandsons, Danny Joe Britt and wife Julie of Richmond, KY and Jonathan Patrick Jewell of Millersburg, OH; one granddaughter, Diane Renee Connor and husband, Kent of Millersburg, OH; three great-grandsons, Nathaniel Austin Britt and James Isaac Britt of Richmond, KY and Wyatt Denver Roy Connor of Millersburg, OH; one sister, Ruby Earls of Indianapolis, IN.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Jewell and son, Rodney Jewell, Jr.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2005 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
