Lena B. Davis

Lena B. Davis, 89, Glasgow, died Thursday, August 14, 2008, at her residence. A daughter of the late Jim and Dora Taylor Likens, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters, Shelby Jean Gillock (William “Buddy) Joyce Martin and Judy Wooten (Danny); one son, James Larry “Rooster” Davis (Martha); 11 grandchildren, Mike Gillock (Marsha), Glen Gillock (Sherry), Lori Tyler (Roger), Rita Billingsley (Chris), Steve Wooten (Shanna), Scott Davis (Cammy), Stacy Martin, Shelly Wooten (Keller), Chris Davis, Jason Wooten (April) and Gina Williams (David); one sister, Marie Slayton; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild on the way; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ewing “Moon” Davis; one daughter, Phyllis Davis; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; 1 great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 17, 2008, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
