Lela Mae Delk

Lela Mae Delk, 88, Glasgow, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Lester and Vera McAdams Boone and the widow of the late Philip M. Delk.
Survivors include three sons, Muncie Delk and wife, Patricia, and James L. Delk of Glasgow and Larry Delk and wife, Cathy, of Austin; three grandchildren, Rita Walden, Philip L. Delk and Kim Delk all of Glasgow; three great-grandchildren, Dakota Walden, Gracie Delk and Jacob Delk; one sister, Marie Elmore of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Wayne Delk; one grandson, James Anthony Delk; four sisters, Margie Meek, Juanita Broadus, Eva Ritter and Edith Hope; one brother, George Daniel Boone.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2008, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
