Lawrence L. “Dusty” Miller

Lawrence Leon “Dusty” Miller, 94, a retired Glasgow businessman, passed away Friday, October 13, 2006, at Taylor Manor Nursing Home in Versailles.
Mr. Miller was born in Barren County, the son of the late Dr. Thomas Finley Miller and Emma Goff Miller Dougherty. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his wife, Lyda Mosby Smith Miller . They were married 70 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Emmy Lou Dickinson and her husband, Henry, of Glasgow, and Jo Brent Robertson and her husband, Bill, of Lexington; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Eleanor Miller Russell and her husband, Jimmy Russell; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 16, 2006, at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to one’s favorite charity.
