Lauretta Mae Johnson, 61, Mt. Sherman , died Saturday, July 24, 2004 , at Jewish Hospital in Louisville . A native of Barren County , she was a daughter of Goldie Muriel Eudy Bailey of Knob Lick and the late Guy Thomas Bailey. She was the owner and operator of Johnson Upholstery and was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Pamela Sue Walters and her husband, David, of Elizabeth , IN , and Lesslie Faith Johnson of Mt. Sherman; one son, Russell Earl Head and his wife, Carolyn, of Columbia, KY; seven grandchildren, Charity Diane DeSpain Spalding, Nathaniel Wayne DeSpain, David Allen Walters, Alaura Mae Head, William Earl Head, Rachel Head and Bethany Head; one sister, Wanda Kidd of Knob Lick; six brothers, Thomas Bailey of Knob Lick, Russell Bailey and wife, Kaye, of Knob Lick, Clay Bailey and wife, Brenda, of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Gerald Bailey and wife, Kathy, of Columbia, Joseph Bailey and wife, Janet, of Greensburg, and David Bailey and wife, Faye, of Edmonton; two uncles, L.P. Eudy and Cecil Byrd; two aunts, Laverne Eudy and Pauline Bailey; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one sister, Sara Frances Bailey.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Bailey Cemetery at Sulphur Well. Friends may call after 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations toward funeral expenses.
