Larry L York

Larry L. York, 71, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a son of the late Cleo and Alma Broaddus York.

He is survived by his wife: Dianne Smith York; three sons: Tyler Chapman (Charity), Bernis Rupe (Trudy) and Mark Runyon; six grandchildren: Hunter Chapman, Joshua Medley, Dustin Rupe, Brooklyn Rupe, Marcus Runyon and Madison Runyon; twelve great-grandchildren: one sister: Cordie Eden; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son: Stanley Chapman, Jr.; five brothers: Jim York, Bill York, Alvis York, Freddie York and Clifford York; one sister: Jane Mackey.

Funeral will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday and after 9:00 am Wednesday until time for services.
