Larry W. Richardson, 68, Glasgow, died Thursday, April 09, 2015, at his residence. A son of the late Harry R. and Eugenia Crenshaw Richardson, he was a retired truck driver for Park City Southern States, a part-time farmer raising tobacco and beef cattle, and an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.
Survivors include his wife Darlene; his children: Jamie Rucker and husband Brad of Columbia, Greg Richardson, Jon Richardson and wife Nikki, Jennifer Atwood all of Glasgow, Angie Bryan and husband Jay of Louisville; his grandchildren: Makaylee Ward of Columbia, Erica Richardson, Andy Richardson and wife Megan, Brooklyn Dismon and husband Dylan, Andrea Purchis and husband Mike, Ryan and Nick Meadows all of Glasgow; Lilly and A. J. Bryan of Louisville; 2 step-grandchildren: Brook and Brittney Rucker of Glasgow; 5 great-grandchildren: Maddie Richardson, Dylan Boggs, Addie Purchis, Cullen Meadows, and Kinleigh Hurt all of Glasgow; 3 brothers: Jimmy Richardson and wife Carol of Louisville, Bobby A. Richardson and wife Wendy and Jeff Richardson all of Glasgow; four sisters: Janice Nadile and husband Ronnie, Carolyn Brooks and husband Dana, Joyce Skaggs all of Glasgow, Doris Richardson of Brownsville; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren: Logan Wayne Richardson and Jaycie Bryan; and one brother: Tommy Richardson.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Burial with military honors provided by Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV will be in the Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
