Larry Russell Vaughn, 64, Summer Shade, died Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Barren County Nursing and Rehab Center in Glasgow. The Barren County native was a son of the late James Luther Vaughn and Jewell Dean Chapman Vaughn. He had worked many years as Chef for several local restaurants.
Survivors include his wife Tambra Miller Vaughn; two sons: Greg Vaughn and wife Shirlene of Connecticut and Josh Vaughn of Bowling Green; two brothers: Gary Vaughn and Willie Vaughn; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Tammy Elaine Meredith Vaughn; one son, Timmy Hudgins; three brothers: Michael Vaughn, James Vaughn, and Luther Vaughn; and two sisters: Brenda Vaughn and Beatrice Hill.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Fairview Cemetery at Brownsville. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
