Keith Garmon, 42, Glasgow, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his residence. He was born December 1, 1977 in Glasgow, a son of Ronnie and Barbara Wilson Garmon. He was an active and dedicated member of Calvary Temple Church in Columbia. He had been Pastor of The River Church in Glasgow and a bus driver for Barren County Schools. Keith’s love for the Lord shined through him in everything he did. Keith gave his heart to Jesus at an early age. He loved to sing, worship, teach, and preach. Keith put God first and loved his family more than life.
Survivors include his wife Amanda Read Garmon; four children: Abby, Matthew, Ally, and Kempton Garmon; his parents, Ronnie and Barbara Garmon; two brothers: Jeff Garmon (Tina) and Josh Garmon (Jessica); one sister, Sara Garmon; his mother-in-law, Rita Read; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one sister, April Garmon; his grandparents: Charlie and Willie Jo Garmon and Paul and Mae Wilson; his parents-in-law, Kemp and Faye Read; and a nephew, Joel Wayne Read II.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Temple Church in Columbia. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday and after 10 am Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery at 4 pm Wednesday. Arrangements entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
