Kathryn Depp Dillon Strader, 98, Hiseville, died Saturday, August 9, 2014, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. A native of Metcalfe County, she was a daughter of the late James D. and Lillian Franklin Dillon. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hiseville Christian Church.
She is survived by one daughter: Jean Dillon Wilson and her husband Stanley of Hiseville; one son: Woody Strader and his wife Carolyn of Hiseville; six grandchildren: Jimmie Lou Johnson, Kathy Holl, Allison Strader, Stanley Davis Wilson, William Strader, and Julie Norman; six great-grandchildren: Morgan Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Laura Kathryn Strader, Brook Norman, Maria Norman, and Sarah Beckett; two great-great-grandchildren: James Harper Beckett and Grace Ann Beckett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bryan Woods Strader; one son: Jimmy Strader; one daughter-in-law: Alice P. Strader.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Hiseville Christian Church or the Hiseville Cemetery.
