Katheryn Ann Patterson, 62, Lexington, died Friday, April 15, 2011, at the University of Kentucky Hospital. A native of Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Patterson and Nancy Jane Sullivan Patterson. She was a graduate of Glasgow High School and the University of Kentucky School of Pharmacy with a PharmD degree. She had been a pharmacist at the University of Kentucky for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her father, her mother, and her step-mother, Ruth Patterson.

Survivors include one sister, Sue Humphrey and her husband David of Lexington; two nieces, Nancy Grayson and husband Trey of Walton, KY, and Wendy Vanmeter and husband Chris of Lexington; one nephew, Jonathan Humphrey of Lexington; three great-nieces, Alexandra Grayson, Katheryn Grayson and Caroline Vanmeter.

She is also survived by two step-sisters, Linda Branstetter and husband Steve of Summer Shade, and Kaye Cardwell and husband Kenny of Bowling Green; step-niece and nephews, Amber Huffman and husband Chris, Bart Branstetter and Matt Cardwell; step-great-nephews, Colton and Cade Huffman; along with many wonderful friends and work associates, Susanne Norman, Mary Varnell and Jan Thompson.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the church. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the First United Methodist Church or Hospice of the Bluegrass , 2409 Members Way, Lexington, KY 40504.
