Joyce Ann Wray, 78, Glasgow passed away peacefully Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Shanti Niketan Hospice Home surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Verner Haden Brown and Pearl Esther Barnett Brown.
Joyce was an active member of the Barren County Homemakers. She had a love for the arts such as painting, and photography. She loved competing with her projects at the local Barren County Fair. She was a dedicated member of the Glasgow Bible Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Billy Wray; two daughters: Donna Vissman (Chris), Debra Murphy (Justin); son Landon Wray (Anna); nine grandchildren: Ian Vissman, Bennett Vissman, Chloe Vissman, Amelia English, Gunner Murphy, Justin Murphy Jr., Caleb Wray, Marshal Wray, and Esther Wray; two brothers; Cecil Brown (Beverly Ann), and Harold Brown (Tilda); four sisters: Norma Craft, Doris Stout, Joy Coleman (Mike), and Nancy Moreland; Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers: Stanley Brown, Paul Brown, Joseph Brown, and Thomas Brown; sister in-law Ann Brown; three brother in-laws: J.G. Craft, Jerry Stout, and Sammy Moreland.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the Glasgow Bible Church, with burial in the Memorial Hill Cemetery in Albany, KY at 2:00pm. Visitation will be 1:00pm – 5:00pm Monday at the Glasgow Bible Church and after 8:00am Tuesday. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations can be made to the Glasgow Bible Church in memory of Joyce. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
