Joyce Lynn Poynter

Joyce Lynn Poynter, 63, Glasgow , died Wednesday, May 26, 2004 , at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital . A native of Barren County , she was a daughter of Laymon Poynter and the late Ruby Wheeler Poynter of Glasgow. She had been an employee of Sorensen’s in Glasgow and the housekeeping department at Glasgow State Nursing Facility. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church
Survivors include her father, Laymon Poynter of Glasgow; one sister, Linda Pedigo of Columbus, Indiana; six nieces and nephews, William Gene Pedigo, Jr. of Glasgow, Lisa Cheryl Beltz, Jeffrey Garnett Pedigo, Trina Dawn Rose, Kevin Lynn Pedigo and Julia Carol Brown all of Columbus, IN. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one nephew, Michael Allen Pedigo.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
