Lera Josephine “Jo” (Woodcock) Eaton, 88, of Avon, passed away October 9, 2015. She was born October 14, 1926 in Tracy, KY to the late Clive and Laura (Wood) Woodcock.
Lera worked at Ayr-Way Thrifty-T-Mart and Safeway Foods for over 20 years.
Survivors include her daughters, Karie (Tom) McDaniel Laura “Susie” Eaton, Tanya Eaton, and; son, Michael Eaton; four grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Lera’s husband of 44 years, Garnett Eaton; son, Joseph Edward Eaton; three sisters; and seven brothers preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15

, 2015 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, where friends may call after 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Fountain Run Cemetery.
