Josephine Anne Darling

     Josephine Anne Darling 86, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Signature of Hart County. She born and raised in Duryea, PA. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Cicon and Pauline Gvoth Cico. In her younger years she worked in long term care as a CNA. After moving to Glasgow, she worked as a volunteer in the gift shop at T.J. Samson Hospital.

     She is survived by three children: Willard Darling Jr., Floyd Darling, and David Darling; 17 grandchildren: Jason Darling, William Darling, Rebecca Darling, Jennifer Mishanski, Jason Hatcher, Kevin Jervis, Shellie Jervis (Matt), Joshua Darling, Curtis Darling, Sage Darling, Cristina Darling Tervis (Shawn), Amber Hillgren (Joe), Stephanie Darling, Alexis Cocren Pardo (Steve), Taylor Cocren Wiley (Nate), and Jaxon Darling; 17 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Paul Cicon, Steve Cicon, and Michael Cicon; sister Pauline Abate (Michael) and daughter in-law Jenice Darling. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

     In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Willard Glenn Darling; three children: Gary Darling, Barbara Darling Hatcher, and Alan W. Darling; five siblings: Joseph Cicon, Matt Cicon, John Cicon, Andrew Cicon, and Anna Cicon.

     Josephine request was to be cremated. A memorial service will be announced at later date in Pennsylvania. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
