Joseph Dominick Emmart, 62, Glasgow, died Monday, July 25, 2011, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Chicago, he was a son of the late William and Josephine Dolore Emmart. He was datasystems technician with SBC-Ameritech, a member of IBEW, member of Boy Scouts of America, Cub Scout Leader, and an avid train, computer, and electronics enthusiast.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Dachtler Emmart; five children, Paula Walls (Louis) of Glasgow, Katrina Emmart (Christian) of Denmark, Cpl. Raymond Emmart (Krystine) of Kansas, Rebecca Emmart of Indiana, and Jeffrey Dachtler of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Anthony Emmart, Mianna Wulffeld, Edward Emmart, and Elizabeth Walls; three brothers, William Emmart, Clark Emmart, and Lynn Emmart.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
