John W. Hodges, 84, of Colfax , IN , formerly of Glasgow died Sunday, January 11, 2004 at his residence. He was the son of the late John Ora and Lola Birge Hodges. He was a member of the American Legion and the DAV. He was a US Army Veteran having served 1941-1945 during WWII.
He is survived by his wife Gladys Alyne Perkins Hodges; two sons: John Russell Hodges of Darlington, IN and Wesley Hodges of Rossville, IN; six daughters: Judy Hodges of Lafayette, IN, Lucy Cape of Columbia, KY, Lera Pritchard of Attica, IN, Brenda Imes of Cincinnati, OH, Pam Whiteman of Frankfort, IN and Deborah Ashlock of Frankfort, IN; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one brother: James H. Hodges of Glasgow. Preceded in death by three children, one grandchild seven brothers and four sisters.
Funeral will be 10:00 A. M. Thursday, January 15, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
