John Clinton Poteet, III
November 12, 1964 — September 7, 2025
John Clinton Poteet, III, 60 of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025. He was a son of the late John Clinton Poteet, Jr. and Barbara Jewell Franklin Poteet.
He is survived by three children: John Clinton Poteet, IV (Misty), Chastity Wallace (Joshua) and Ellis “Bo” Carnhan; eight grandchildren: Alex Poteet, Katie Poteet, Mya Wallace, Addilyn Wallace, Waylon Wallace, Emma Carnhan, Hannah Carnhan and Mason Carnhan; two sisters: Karen Thompson (Emmett Barnett) and Christie Creek; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother: Mike Poteet; one sister: Rita Wilson.
Funeral will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:am Wednesday until for funeral.
