John Howard Crain, 69 of Glasgow passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Howard Lee Crain and Mary Orene Short Crain Hensley.
He is survived by his foster mother: Ruby Philpott; his fiancé: Patricia Bryant; one son: Jonathan Crain; two daughters: Sara and Betty Bryant; six grandchildren: two sisters: Jayne Burris (Gordon) and Mary Wagoner (Marshall); one aunt: Nina Curry (Billy); several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survive.
The family has chosen cremation with a memorial service at a later date. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home for expenses.
