John E. “Mouse” Edwards, 79, of Center, died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at his residence. He was the son of the late James Loyd Edwards and Dora Alma Smith Edwards. He was an army veteran.
He is survived by three sons: Bobby Edwards and his wife Penny of Center, Ricky Edwards and his wife Patricia of Glasgow and Preston Edwards of Edmonton; one daughter: Sandy Pennington and her husband Steve of Center; one sister: Bertha Alma Saltsman; seven grandchildren: Jamie Edwards, Lisa Edwards Jimmy Vibbert, April Eddings, Coby Pennington, Rebekah Edwards and Kaleb Edwards; six great-grandchildren: Erica Edwards, Michaela Edwards, Landon Edwards, Lindsey Jessie, Logan Eddings and Shelby Vibbert.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: James Carl Edwards and William Junior Edwards; one sister: Flora Mae Edwards Johnson.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Jeffries Cemetery where Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV will provide military honors. Visitation will be after 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
