Joe Grant Hardin, 60, Old Munfordville Road , Cave City , died Friday, May 21, 2004 , at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville . A native of Barren County , he was the son of Nora Alice Wheeler Hardin of Glasgow and the late Rupert Alton Hardin. He was a retired electrician at Ford Motor Co. in Louisville , a member of the United Auto Workers, a member of Local 369 of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and a member of the East Main Methodist Church .
Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sharon; one daughter, Teresa Biller of Louisville; one son, Joe Hardin of Louisville; two grandchildren, Lacey Biller and John Thomas Biller; one brother, Larry W. Hardin of Nobob; four sisters, Betty Claywell of Nobob, Patty Schroerlucke of Louisville, Judy Workman of Louisville and Connie Hart of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Miranda Hardin and one sister, Jerry Sue Hardin.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
