Jesse Dewayne Turner, Sr., 69, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a son of the late Jesse and Lena Vibbert Turner. He was retired from Glasgow Foods.
He is survived by his wife Hester Elizabeth Graham Turner: four children: Elizabeth Hammonds (Craig), Jesse Turner, Jr. James Turner and John Turner (Rebecca); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother: Lesel Turner (Joann); several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter: Lisa Turner; two grandchildren: Daniel Graham and Daniel Turner; one brother: Delton Turner; one sister: Sue Turner.
Funeral will be 2:00 pm Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Lick Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 am Saturday until time for services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
