Jerry Kaye Taylor

Jerry Kaye Scott Taylor, 75, Glasgow, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at her residence. The daughter of the late Hervy and Magdalene Guinn Scott, she was a retired finance and insurance manager for different automobile dealerships. She was a lover of antiques and enjoyed buying and selling them. She was also a long-time member of the Park Church.

Survivors include three step-children: Brian Taylor and his wife Jan of Ormond Beach, Florida, Emily Ogles and her husband Lance of Glasgow, and Micah Taylor of Murfreesboro; two grandchildren: Taylor Ogles and John Perry Ogles; four great-grandchildren: John Thomas Ogles, Aubrey Ogles, Adleigh Cook, and Andy Cook; her beloved pet dog Dolly; a cousin, Carmen Martin; along with special friends: Jeanette Vaughn, Kenny Carey, Abbie Jennings, Brenda Franklin, Patty Jo Word, Teresa Bennett, and Martha Crow Dickinson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Howard Dickson Taylor.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday at Neal’s Chapel Cemetery with no prior visitation. Arrangements entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.  Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Park Church.
