Jennie Mansfield Ross

Jennie Mansfield Ross, 96, Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at Barren County Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Taylor and Rhetta Bishop and a member of the Glasgow Bible Church.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Ramona and Clyde Martin of Glasgow; three granddaughters, Glenda Martin of Frankfort, and Marsha Mercer and Lisa Cary both of Bowling Green; one great-grandson, Shane Mercer of Bowling Green; three sisters, Patricia Ewing and Caroline Johnson both of Louisville and Brenda Miracle of Aurora, IL; one brother, Leroy Bishop of Florida; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Louie Mansfield and Clarence Ross; her daughter, Greta Cary; a grandson, Lynn Martin; one sister, Helen Gassaway; five brothers, Otis Bishop, Meade Bishop, Marchel Bishop, Romie Bishop and Mitchel Bishop.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2007, at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery, with Bro. Mike Padgett officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to a favorite charity.
