Jason Turner, 39, Glasgow, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Conyers, GA, he was the son of Thomas Nightingale and Elizabeth Minnieman Hammons. He is survived by his life companion and the mother of his children Ashley Smith. In life he enjoyed fishing, gardening and carving walking sticks. He was a septic tank repairman and self employed carpenter.
Survivors include his parents and life companion along with his children: Johnathan Turner, Jaylen Turner and Melanie Turner all of Glasgow KY; two sisters: Jennifer Myers and Tabatha Turner and three brothers: Rusty Allen, Brandon Burkhead, Robert Turner all of Georgia.
The family is honoring Jason’s wish to be cremated. A memorial service will be held 5:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Arrangements entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
