Jannie Elizabeth (Thomas) Carroll 90 passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her family, Wednesday November 2, 2011. Born in Barren County, Ky. She was a member of Faith Chapel General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years James Scott Carroll, two sons James Steven and Ronald Glen Carroll and grand daughter Melissa Fowler. She is survived by her four children; Wanda Wagner (Rick), Judy Christian (Richard), Jerry Carroll (Teresa) and Linda Hart (Michael). Fourteen grandchildren, Sixteen great-grandchildren, Three brothers; Ernest, Douglas and Donald Thomas (Judy). Sister; Edna Ashley and her dearest friend Orene Tucker. She was a loving Mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Her funeral will be 7 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. in Louisville. Visitation 11 am to 8pm. Burial Saturday at Cedar Grove Church Cemetery Glasgow, Ky. Visitation Saturday 10 am to 12 pm CST at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home in Glasgow with service and burial to follow.
