Janie Edwards, 83 of Hiseville died Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Mack Center and Effie Hale Center and a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by five children: Alex Edwards and Wife Virginia of Hiseville, Jim Edwards of Hiseville, Richard Edwards and wife Ann of Somerset, KY, Bill Edwards and wife Peggy of Mt. Washington and Judy Riordan of Glasgow; two stepchildren: Madeline DeSalvo of New Jersey and Kenny Edwards of IN; nineteen grandchildren: Frankie, Sarah, Mark, Lynn, Stephen, Mike, Donna, Chris, Cheri, Missy, Roger, Bryan, Matt, Carol Ann, Rhonda, Becky, Larry, Ashley and Jonathan; forty four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Edwards; four sons: Raymond, Roger, Larry and Tom; one daughter: Jane Ellen Edwards; one granddaughter: Tammy Edwards three stepchildren: Irene Morrison, James Edwards and Agnes March.
Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Rock Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Russell Hatcher officiating. Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and after 9:00 A. M. Saturday at the Rock Springs Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Edwards Family Cemetery.
