Janice Faye Peden

Janice Faye Mills Peden, 77, Glasgow, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026 at the NHC Healthcare Center. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late James Bryant Mills and Myeerah Pedigo Mills. Janice was a retired employee of Mallory Capacitor and a member of the Coral Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Michael Allen Peden; one daughter, Michelle Satterly (Robert Hale); one granddaughter, Whitney Croft (Tyler); five great-grandchildren: Karson, Cooper, and Conner Satterly, Lailah Davis, and Luna Croft; five brothers: Jimmy, Steve, Chris, Darrell, and Kevin Mills; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Clark; and one grandson, Justin Satterly.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Alzheimer’s Association.
