Janice Mae Davis, 59, Glasgow, died Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the T J Samson Community Hospital. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Russell Wallace Davis and Lillie Marie Batey Davis. She was a sitter for those with home health needs and she attended the Faith, Hope, and Love Church.
Survivors include her husband Robert Fields and his children: Mikayla Fields, Dakota Fields, and Gena Jones; one sister, Marcella Thurman; several nieces and nephews including Donnie Thurman (Felicia), Savannah Thurman, Donna Adams (Franklin Tooley), Jason Thurman, Tony Thurman (Becky), and Michelle Davis; along with her fur babies Kirby and Sissa.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Danny Davis and Larry Dale “Wimpee” Davis.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
