James Robert “Bobby” Brown, Jr., 49, Bowling Green, died Thursday, July 26, 2012, at his residence. A native of Glasgow, he was a son of the late James Robert Brown, Sr. and Delilah Ruth Lee Brown. He was an employee of Hinton Cleaners and a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one daughter, Nickie Nicole Brown, and one son, Robert Lee Brown both of Glasgow; one grandson, Bentley Whayne Brown; two step-children, Amy Gail Steanly and Sally Jo McCoy; his fiancée, Mary Lou Durbin; one brother, Garnett Lee Brown of Glasgow; three sisters, Ruby Neighbors (David) and Della Mae Gaskin all of Bowling Green, and Betty Ewing (Roy) of Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
