James Micheal Thompson, 61, of Seymour, IN, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014. Jim was a member of First Baptist Church in Seymour, IN where he taught Sunday School for the past 18 years. Formerly he taught Sunday School at Glasgow Bible Church before moving to Seymour, IN in 1995.
Survivors include his wife, Kaye, two sons, Aaron Thompson and Scott Pedigo, and three grandchildren, Acea, River and Dakota. He is also survived by two brothers, Kevin Thompson and Bobby Roeder. He was preceded in death by his father, James V. Thompson, mother, Helen Roeder, and grandmother, Gertrude Overfelt whom Jim lived with for much of his childhood life.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home in Glasgow, KY. Family and friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America at www.alzfdn.org
