James “Jay” Garner 72, Glasgow, passed away Sunday, April 26, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late James Garner and Frances Staples Garner.

He is survived by his partner of 30 years, Travis Boston; Niece Angie King (Todd), and Nephew Brad Sharp (Sherry); his little dog Gracie and a host of other family and friends also survive.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Carolyn Garner.

Family has Chosen cremation with a memorial service at 1:00pm Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 10:00am on Saturday. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
