James Ballard

James Ballard, 71, of Glasgow, died Sunday, November 18, 2007 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late James Talbert Ballard and Lucille Garmon Ballard and he was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by five brothers: Herbert Ballard and his wife Brenda of Glasgow, Robert Ballard and his wife Linda of Glasgow, Carlos Ballard and his wife Linda of Glasgow, Joe Ballard of Glasgow and Preston Ballard and his wife Gayle of Knob Lick; one sister-in-law: Margie Ballard of Edmonton and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother: Garnett Ballard and three sisters: Lucy Fields, Lounell Smith and Mary Ballard.
Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Junior Shirley officiating. Burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
