Jackie Brent Wooten, 67, Fairdale, KY, died Thursday, May 29, 2008, in Glasgow. A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Virgil and Pauline Smith and a member of the Fairdale Church of God.
Survivors include four daughters, Jacqueline Russell, Pam (Mike) Ryan and Angela Wooten all of Glasgow, and Julie (Derick) Staples of Munfordville; two sisters, Susie Bowe and Julia (Gary) Jones of Glasgow; one brother, Alvin Wooten of Colorado; special friend, Linda Nole; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Wooten; two brothers, Danny and Ricky Smith; and one sister, June Hubble.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2008, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the American Cancer Society.
