Jackie Elizabeth West Jackson, 62, died Sunday, December 23, 2012, in Indianapolis. She was born march 31, 1950, to Tom Ellen Buford West and the late Guy West. She attended Glasgow Schools and was employed by T. J. Samson Community Hospital and later at by Winona Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis. In later years, she did private duty nursing.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roosevelt Jackson and sons Stacey Tyrone West, Sr. and Darius Wilson.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Tom Ella West; grandsons, Stacey West, Jr. and Darius West; a great-grandson; sisters, Joann Howard and Joyce Webb; brother, William Guy “Billy” West; niece and nephew that Jackie raised, Teresa Webb and John Adams; nieces Phyllis McPhear, Neysa Howard, Terri McKenzie, Quenna Howard, and June Button; nephew, William Guy West, Jr.
Visitation with the family will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with a graveside service immediately following at the Oddfellow Cemetery.
